Anything Can Happen in An
Abandoned Chinese Restaurant

"Anything can happen in an abandoned Chinese
Restaurant."...quote from an old man in an
old movie.

Just an old movie line crying
out for some introspection...

It happened on a cold February night
somewhere in Chicago, 52nd Street
to be precise, it was happening in
an old abandoned Chinese Restaurant.
The year was 1988, the time of day
was very, very late, round about
2 a.m. in the morning, and on this
particular morning, a good time was
tic, toc, ticking away, as the band played
some old Tommy Dorsey tunes, it was a joy to hear
the sound of a full orchestra filling the room.
Sharing the stage, a man that crooned many a
sentimental tune, Ol' blue eyes himself,
giving back to his mafiosi friends, for the
years of friendship they'd given to him,
singing songs stored inside his heart
that he had made his own, while in
the audience his wife Barbara was
encouraging Frank on, who at 72
years old, needed to know that
he was loved and appreciated
even after the show.

Quote is from a 40's movie
called "A Thousand Clowns."
Frank Sinatra...1915-1998.
Rest in peace...
