Where among the flowers
of time and meadows
of eternity, would i
have wandered without you?
Days of bounteous gifts
you have brought to
me, like armsfull of
wild sweet fragranced flowers.
The sea we saw,
the beaches of spun
gold sunstream we walked.
Woods splintered with sunlight
that dazzled us with
an allure that beamed
a white light from
within us, to play
again love we made
into our minds as
we looked into the
deepening celestial blue eyes
of all our tommorows.
Destiny decrees and bids
us walk in grace
while love blooms within
our hearts, while devotion
is warmly, freely given,
while passion is our
hearts conjoined in ecstasy.
To you i pledge my
being,my gentle caress,
my ever brightening amber
core of eternal love.
Let us give this
world it's reason to
live? Let us be
an epitome of love,
of patience, of tolerance
in a world bereft
of such glorious graces?
A light in darkest
corners, a glinted droplet
jewel on the rose
of this wonderful world?
Come darling of my
heart, a dawning new
day awaits your arrival,
here i stand now,
waiting to hold you.

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky, ring out the old, ring in the new, ring out the false, ring in the true..A Lord Tennyson

As a ‘hopeless romantic,’ I could not
help but love this very personal and yet
‘universal’ penning!

I am especially fond of the beginning!:

“Where among the flowers
of time and meadows
of eternity, would i
have wandered without you?”

MANY fine images…such as:

“spun gold sunstream”;

splintering sunlight;

“glinted droplet
jewel on…rose”;

and:

that “ever brightening amber
core of eternal love(!) …

serious, sustained applause!!

Goldenrose,

This might work.  However, it would work more effectively if you capitalized your "I"s.  Do you really have that little self worth?
