Today's a day for laughter
Cackling right out loud,
Make a person smile today,
Captivate a crowd.

They might look at you,
And think you are quite odd,
Might tell you 'bout comedians,
Out looking for a job.

Make some faces-tell some jokes,
Be a clown for just one day,
You might cheer-up a "sad" someone,
Make some worries go away.

Sadly life won't always flow
Like the melody of song,
Admire the one that can still laugh
When everything goes wrong.

Smiles that are worth
More than anything on earth,
Are the smiles that shine thru tears.....

When life seems too befuddlin'
Take time to do some spuddlin'
That's splashin' while it's puddlin'
Go barefoot in the rain

..Thanks, Toe..

Very much enjoyed, Toerag!  There's a lot of truth to this!  For example, you cheered up my day when you wrote Toerag's New Home.  In writing a humourous poetic response to yours, I found I got a different outlook on things!   Nursing homes certainly are not one of the things I look forward to, but I'm sure if you ever visited one, you would bring much joy to those there.  I hope you enjoy the thread I wrote for you a few days ago.  You've a pretty terrific spirit, and I just thought I'd let you know how I appreciated it through a poem.   And... thanks...!

Take care,
miscellanea
