it's always the proper in me
that refuses to see
the way you speak of love
as if it could easily be

it's always the prim in me
that never quite lets go
enough to feel the lust
that you are eager to show

one day though you might be surprised...

Dear RDB,

Awwww, come on hon, loosen-up a little.  Let's have some fun.

I've been having this kind of problem with girls for a while.

This is a great little poem.  I like it loads.

It's taken me a little while to get to do some reading here but you tell it how it can be for a lot of us "women folk".  Now that I'm older and wiser I can truly say that I hope by now he has been surprised.

In former times the proper and prim woman was the wife and the passionate one was the lover, both unhappy knowing of each other, but it was somehow tolerated. Now we know that the most faithful couples are those where there is also a satisfying intimate life. The lack thereof drives now not only men to seek it elsewhere, but also women.
So maybe it is time to learn some lessons! I would say it's never too late, or even the sooner the better!
You have touched upon a very important theme here, dear Roniece.
And many can relate no doubt, men and women.

Love

RDB, in the olden days I believe the message was: treat 'em mean & keep 'em keen!
