This field, this beard of mine
That catches the winter moon
And knives through my white spilled shirt,

Rippling a hole under my neck,
Under my thoughts,
The way my mouth opens
At the skin that nudges me
Against a seamless forever,

That caches the stunted silence,
The runner’s quiet, knees dipping
Into the feet that spin their
Bones towards a line of strength,

Of vision, a cheapened season,
That carries heat from the dawns musk,
And a sweat that defies my bodies caved skin.

A cold 10 around my lips,
Through my hair, coughing the hairs
That lay above my arms,

And like 10, the 10th of winter
Lyes a day I came and a day
I saw me, undazzled,
Standing with a shovel to the
Summers weary heat.

Read several times. I can't say that I understand all of them.  Do you want to tell me  what the 10 means? (unless it is an open mouth and a knife beside it. )

I will read again.
enjoyed the experience.

Hey Tom-

Happy you enjoyed.  10 is the day of my birthday, which is why I hold it significant.  Take care.

Then happy Birthday, Tomer!!!
But if this was a birthday poem, why the knife of shaving but not of cake?!
Still enjoyed the "deep throat" poem.
Thank you for your explanation.
Tom
