Love Notes

Grandiloquent, magniloquence
Impressive though it be,
Cannot quite match the eloquence
Of sweet sincerity.

No need to waste one's rhetoric.
Simplicity is fine,
Three little words "I love you", or
"Please be my Valentine".

Joyce,

You have real words of wisdom here.  Simplicity is the key to most things.  It's extremely important in poetry.

Well done.

I am so glad that I didn't forget to tell you, Joyce, how much I love this poem.  It brought a big smile to me the first time I read it - and the magic worked again just now.

I love your style.
