The cooking class
She tells you
           That kitchen is a place
                               Alike a writing desk.
The worm foods are poetry that a chef creates.

She tells you to mix
Ingredients in a bowl of
                            Lovely porcelain
White as the stillness of her pearls.

She shows you how to mix.
You have yawned after the 1st class!
She overlooks prodigal’s flickers.

She shows you to warm the pot
To pour a slab of butter
                           To fry the vegetables
No, no. Just a bit of red

She showed you.

Back at the house
You have tried
And tried
The closest of the imitation
Only to find a placid taste.

She has not told you
The key ingredient:
A bit of whipped love.

This is a very lovely write, dear poddarku,
bringing back memories of my own cooking class ... the teacher was sort of a witch and we did not like her, but later I felt grateful for what I had learned thanks to her.

Nothing goes without Love!!
