Ya know I love Barbecue,
And I'd guess..so do you
My favorite's down in Ala-bam,
Pork and Beef and even ham.

My secretary loves it too,
She's tried all kinds of barbecue
Every day when lunch hour comes,
Off for barbecue she runs.

Now lunch hour only lasts an hour,
Enough time for a pig devoured.
Seems she takes much more than that,
Lunch is now one hour-one half.

Yesterday she left at noon,
Before too long was half past two,
At nearly three she came back in,
We asked her where the hell she'd been?

"Good grief gal, where ya been?
After barbecue again?
Where'd ya eat? Was it Tibet?
I ain't tried that smoked Yak yet?"

Darn your hide. *G* You were making me seriously crave some Bama barbecue... and I ALWAYS crave long lunch hours *G*... but I rather doubt even Gibson's or Whitt's could make yak appetizing! LOL

I love this!

My doctor was just telling me the last time I was in his office that he raised a Yak this last summer and it is in his freezer.

I asked if he felt bad having it butchered and he said no .. it was pretty mean.

So I guess mean meat is better to kill than not mean meat -- or something.  As a moose eater, I don't know ... some moose are mean, I guess.

Anyway, I am going to have to show this off at work as I am the one continually late!

My lunch today? Barbecued venison tenderloin, with a baked potato, cole slaw, garlic bread and a HUGE glass of sweet tea.
Lunch tomorrow? Backstrap!
Yep - Florida ain't all seafood lol - some of us still cook on old Weber charcoal grills, with pecan wood smoking underneath the rack... and when we want seafood? We make gumbo - with OKRA!

Toe - ya can't blame your secretary for taking her time over good barbecue, now. It takes time to lick all that sauce off yer fingers lol
