From the depth of man’s heart,
A life line is penciled in.
Was it God’s might or simply
Some kind of uninvited wish?
We’ll draw it again, if needs be.

Born-again religions will keep coming,
Sins and damnation will still be used,
And anger will be the word of the day.

We need something else,
We need something else.

Now, let there be light!

Cendrine,

Light, reason, and kindness always work.

Good poem, I like it loads.

Keep up the good writing.

I like this too, Cendrine. You are so right.
We need something else. Something that does't require killing if we don't agree with it.

Cendrine,

I like the passion in your poetry.  And I, too, agree with you.
