'You know who I saw the other day? You'll never guess...'

'Who?'

'Dawn...'

'Dawn?'

'Yes. At least I could have sworn it was because it looked just like her. At least how I'd expect her to look now, anyhow...

It reminded me of years ago, when I was decidedly torn over to whom I should be most drawn, should I go for a safe Dawn or the decidedly more exotic Molly?

And not being a born decision-maker, I turned to my relationship director of the time and he said...

'I'm sorry, but you better get out your brolly, whilst I pour some scorn on all of this folly of you ever thinking you've got any chance with Molly, you'll be better off with Dawn. Before promptly running off with Molly, leaving me to Dawn.

Anyway, when I saw Dawn the other day, I tried to hide behind a tree. But it was too late, she'd already seen me.

'Hello Tony,' she said and despite the fact that that's never been my name, I couldn't be bothered to correct her...

Tony,

Good story poem.  It flows well.  I'm sure Dawn will be very good.  My girlfriend's daughter is named Dawn.  All Dawns are nice.
