And now,

even in this need for change
I hesitate with the fear of a child
    but yet, I leap
and although the fall may not be broken
I take the chance.

       I take the chance
as a prayer escapes my lips

that I be caught,
and if not
then broken and bloody
as I might be

I'll get back up,
continually;
determined in this desire
to not just survive

but rather, to experience

life...

to live.

{thanks to Nicole for
the inspiration}

Yes!! You wrap your courage and passion and beauty into this just right. I've stood at many of those ledges myself. Some days are harder to jump than others.

Here's to taking the leap...

A great write

Donna

This is gonna sound cliche', but there is no ledge that can conquer you.  You may free fall and crash, but you are stronger than the landing.

Yes! ~ "take the chance" and LIVE your life, dear brave of heart! And if you ever fall, may the landings be "Gentle".

Love to you!

An empowering thought rendered with your usual grace, dear Donna!

To LIVE is a wonderfully gratifying decision and I love your determination.
