The Ache of Lapis Dawn

Time is, itself, but a trickster
Calls in ambiguous tone
Colors intrinsic the picture
Rising and setting alone
Knowing beyond recognition
Feelings of scenic malaise
Slipping beyond inhabition
Softly within morning haze
Silence itself a redemption
Tender caress of the eye
Stalled by innate apprehension
Left on the lips just a sigh
Treasure of pearl laden daylight
I, with impetuous heart
Anticipate with clear insight
The ache of lapis dawn art

I loved this TD, especially the line I've bolded.  Indeed...that is truly a perfect line!!

I am especially fond of:

"Rising and setting alone
Knowing beyond recognition
Feelings of scenic malaise
Slipping beyond inhabition
Softly within morning haze
Silence itself a redemption"

and, I must concur with 'Gentle Spirit'
the last line above is particularly superb!

applause!
