Someone jokingly says:
At least, we know this,
money can’t buy poverty
and that got me thinking;
money does buy poverty.

Cause and effect:
to be among the “rich”
there must be the “poor”
It’s all relative
is that not so?

What constitutes “rich”?
Why, money of course,
or that which can be converted
to money: collateral.
And what constitutes “poor”?
Why, the lack of money
or lack of collateral.

So, money does more
than simply buy poverty:
it creates the field,
and in that field scatters
the seeds of poverty
assured every time
of an abundant crop.

"money can’t buy poverty
and that got me thinking;"

~ and you parlayed that into
something rather special.

You hear. You think. You write. We read. We think.
~ and hopefully, we act.

Love & Light,
EA

WindWalker,

Poverty is the result of the rich and powerful hogging just about everything.

Obviously, another most timely and 'important' write!

Especially in the last 7 years, the 'Runaway American Dream' ("democracy")
is devolving into a corporate "mediocracy" (headed by political stooges of special
interests and corporate 'economic royalists') and its attendant economic caste
system of two classes...the 'haves' (the few...the rich...the infamous) and the
'have-nots' [everybody else...'slave labor' for the electronic 'information processing'
and service industry sweatshops; etc. of the 'haves']

serious applause for this 'penning!'
