Nine months you wait for a little being,
and you know you love him before even seeing.
It is a shame he is coming to a world full of hate,
but you imagine a future for a lifes thats great.
And when he is born you cry out loud,
this is my son in whom I'll always be proud.
Then  you see  his precious smile,
and a  tear comes for perfection you have not seen in to long awhile.
You are so glad there is someone to teach,
that the  wicked world did not yet reach.
You know you must do your best to raise him well,
to help him see and avoid the paths to hell.
So to train and  guide you must do it fast,
for the days of childhood will not last.
And when he is grown into the world he will go,
and you pray you taught whim all he must know.
Then all hope is that you did your best,
so that he will withstand the devils test.

With a parent like yourself, I believe that he stands a better than average chance of "withstanding the devil's tests".

A very touching piece of heartfelt writing. God bless you and your family.
