In this nasty weather
everything comes inside
and seesaws the mind
between the real/unreal
until dizzy is a woman
from the up and down.

It’s that togetherness
at the peak of ecstasy
that plummets to the depths
with a shudder and a thud
when the soul well and done
with the spell of love.

And so of spells who can undo
what’s cast and made to be
except the silence of a mind
that allows me opportunities
to disengage and walk away?

Oh, but the dizziness is real
and the end leads me back again
straight to the beginning
where the up and down engages
strong locks to the outside.

Trapped in love; tra-la, la-la,
and no one hears the music!

Thanks Margherita and TD.  I do still think that one of the blessings in life is for someone to "understand".

Thanks Arctic Wind - so glad you enjoyed.  One can drown in deep water, ya know, but I guess I'm meant to be around for a bit still.

"Trapped in love; tra-la, la-la,
and no one hears the music!"

~ I understand how that kind of "dizziness" is VERY "real".

At times, one needs to be a circus performer to be able to manage the balancing act required, in a love relationship.

Loving hug,

Linda
