     Winter Moon

This star-resplendent
  night
sings with the cold-clear
peal of frosted bells
resounding from
these ancient hills,
(where shades dance
  with the shadows)
beneath a quintescent
Winter moon…
the finest cynosure
of Nature’s equanimity
and incandescent
  truths!

Secondhanddreampoet,

This is good writing.  It made my mind snap automatically to a little town in Pennsylvania named "Shades of Death".  It’s in a section known as shade valley.  The area is known for its Hemlock trees.

You most likely remember Socrates.

Bobby, you really make me laugh out loud. And you're right, this is good writing here.

A winter moon illuminates all in bright and perfect intonation.
I could see it.

I wonder why
The eye of night
sees more beauty

Always love your poem.
