Silver and gold woven like fine silken string
Creates spider webs with delicate sheen
Intricate strands that hang in mid air
Clings like magic in the times that we share

The gold is your heart, so strong and pure
Holding deep love that will always endure
Each steady beat whispers your story
Courage harmonizes your songs of glory

The silver is tears sliding down my face
Racing to fill this empty vast space
An endless abyss with no end in sight
Missing conversations shared into the night

Yet, hope still remains, although it grows dim
For without any hope there is no way to win
Darkness slowly gives way to a sliver of sun
With clarity I know that your time is not done

The gold is your strength and it is your faith
It’s knowledge you’re held in a loving embrace
You will never face your struggles alone
And the memories we share will never be gone
