   Winter Passing

Beyond immutable
Winter-sunset hills,
the gypsy moon
  rising,
traces a wayward
  path
through idling
clouds and
vagabond stars,
in a timeless dream
of Spring’s
reclamation.

The moon in all its glory from winter's passing to spring's reclamation.

Beautiful again.

Winter passing

Having made the ice
why not go sliding faster
spring is waiting

We most assuredly had the ice made here today in the
'endless' mountains of Pennsylvanian Appalachia!

Dear Bruce, I am glad that I wrote something right.
With a trembling thought that Lady Midnitesun might post her poem beside me, again, that would embarrass me to a sleepless night. truly.

That moon, passing through the transition of seasons on its way to Spring, is witnessing squirrels lining their nests with fur from their tails in preparation for a new generation of youngsters here. What fine images you've written!
