Something
Something
Something
from the soul of Sy
lingers among the millions
Some things that cannot die

Not just something
But well defined
Fails me now to pen
The something why

No better words than his
For something more
Left alone to linger…
Something from Sy:

“My candle flickers on the wall
Making patterns of enthrall
Setting wings a mind to fly
Turning me a butterfly

And if I could a better goal
I’d even light my very soul”

…bright enough so that
we’ll see you on the other side
Our poet, friend.

Robert, I knew the "something" when I saw it.

And, he said, "yes" to my request. I've had it in my office every day since then.

Thank you for this.
