You are still here,
Reading the replies
For I heard your laughter

Your words of cheer
Lits up all fire-flies
You are still here

Post is sincere
we see "eye to eyes"?
For I heard your laughter

All Chaos and fear
Roller coaster cries
You are still here

Carpet goes queer
Dragging down from skys
For I heard your laughter

Why need pouring tear
Why need bidding byes
You are still here
For I heard your laughter.

This is for Mr.Tabin.
Sir Balladeer shall not comment on the style.

I am in such deny.

Thanks for this Tom...We need to be reminded that this life...this one...is eternal for us.  We shared his gifts, here on the blue!  How lucky we are that he is still here!

~ I've got a little lump in my throat.

Tom, the sincerity of your words, is very apparent.

Ditto inkedgoddess reply.
Sy would be the first to chuckle,
especially at your Balladeer comment.

This is very beautiful and heartfelt, dear Tom, I especially love the thought that "his words of cheer light up all the fireflies"!

You know what? I can hear his laughter too. He is definitely here!

love

What a heartfelt poem to one of Passions most loved poets. If Balladeer says anything about the style just tell me and I'll fix that for you, I've been known to give him a race for his money

Very well done Tom! A well respected member of Piptalk, very true Ruth and he will be missed, hopefully he did not suffer. May we carry his memory forward in the spirit of creating fine poetry..

TomMark,

I'm afaid "lits" is not a word in the English language.

I'd use "lights"

Of course it is possible for poets to make up their own words.  "Lits" might be fun.
