Jaime,

This is the other one that you asked me about.

The picture is of a pure red Amaryllis (hope that I spelled that correctly).  It was in full bloom.

I put it into a photo program and broke it up like a jigsaw puzzle and used a black background.  Then I painted the flower into the upper corner of the picture.  It is one complete flower, surrounded by broken pieces of the same flower.

The haiku is:

Flirting with winter
summer heat captured in a single bloom
teasing memories

Smiles sent to you,
Alison

Dear Alison, this is a wonderfully captured thought, the flower's bloom and windows of view, much enjoyed.

very fine 'imaging!'

I'm curious...why two "UserNames?"

Thank you all.  I appreciate you peeking in and commenting.

As for the question about two user names -- I only have one user name - Alison.

When I joined PiP, I joined under the name aziza - which is a name I have used in other groups in the past.  However, as my time here grew, I wanted to write under my own name, Alison.

As I could not change the name 'aziza', I rejoined under my name and retired 'aziza'.  Sometimes I post a response to a poem written under that name, but all new poems are posted under my very real name.

Thanks all,
A

Beautiful, my friend. Mine won't bloom for about another month or so, but I do have a deep red hibicus in bloom this week, and of course the Azaleas are starting too.

Love flowers...especially presented as this one was.

Oh who wouldn't like to have that beautiful bloom in their garden and I loved the words.

A big hug to you dear Alison.
