Seymour, a farewell

Each morning he gifted us with delight
His poetic gems of sparkling light
Words written as only Sy could do
He was a special man, one of the few
Whose choice of words were always right
Seymour, my friend, who saw with poets sight

To say we will miss you seems too trite
I will more than miss your poets write
Whenever I came as I sometimes do
I always looked for those words penned by you
They spun in the air and painted scenes
What I called special Seymour themes

Words of wisdom, words of grace
Enchantment and poetry interlace
Into a spell that only you could spin
Which pulled all who read you within
And the poetic man was an artist too
One who painted in such glorious hue

Seymour, our memory will never end
We will recall the man, the poet, our friend

Marsha

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

...

I wish I had gotten to know him better,
but the wonderfulness inside him shined

and the words you all write and share ...
well, they simply filled with love for him.

hi sis...

as I 'm not around much anymore, I just learned of Sy yesterday! Your writing is
brilliant as usual, but this has the softest touch, like that of a feather. Sy will be surely missed. He has touched us all at one time or another, some of us many times over. Your words bring solace to so many. Hope you are well. Miss you! Have lots to share with you. Will e-mail soon.

Love you,

Amy
