Fours walls of silent
judgment,
breathing crude innuendos
at my back
stabbing at my spine with splintered
nails

The hall is endless
nothing to light the way
except the blind of familiar
circumstance and what's left
of common sense

Bleeding tiny little particles
of DNA plumped with bereaved
cells of use to be hope

I expect stumble, I welcome
the pain
recognizing my part,
my non-part,
my retarded need

Resentment without words
regret without hope
disappoint without a point

Homeless with a home
I am not where I am supposed to be

~ Susan, this aches. This truly aches. You are such an expressive writer. How could a reader not feel your pain.

Giving you a warm, loving, compassionate hug,

Linda

this is a brand new year and it's gonna be better for all of us than it was last year

you will find where you are supposed to be, strong people don't let a little blindness stand in their way

common sense combined with inner strength is a force to be reckoned with!

I hear deep cries in these words, and can only offer warm healing thoughts to help comfort your spirit, and those of loved ones lost in the shadows.

Deep anxiety and pain are tangible in your words, dear Susan.

I am sorry you are going through such a black tunnel, may your heart heal and let the light in again. We go through continuous change, burdens become lighter while we move ahead.

Love and hugs, beautiful heart.
