I knew you were balancing your lady
on the narrow edge of proper
keeping that delicate attention

so that crazy wouldn't take over
and unravel your favorite sweater
or scuff the toes of your shoes

I kept my thoughts to myself then
as long as I could stay silent
but I did draw pictures in the sand

outside your sometimes look out window
and waited for your eyes
to follow my imagination down

to the warm of our barefoot ocean

You too show these two sides ... passionate,  yet gentle, when she "hesitates".

A poem to cherish.

So, if the sweater unravels .. is that what it means to be hanging by a thread?  (smiles --- I couldn't help myself .. I tried, I really tried.  Kinda).

I am loving this, D.

*sighs* ... and draws pictures in the sand with my scuffed shoes.

I can go to sleep now. I've got my Daark fix. The withdrawal never ended, you know.
