HypnoticWaves

Double doors left parted please
To hear the waves hypnotic peace
Leaving prone upon these sheets
Myself, played as strings, in harmony meets

Coming and leaving
The breath of soft surf speaking
Lullaby in tides so like me
Froth of silver sounds in rapsody

The curtains make applause
Trembling bells to chime, then pause
My hair stirred in satin tune
Warm as touch beneath a vintage moon

As I quiver, following each strum
The wind continues on and on
My thoughts of you soothe as song
Thus is instrumental, swells of linger on

I love lines and images such as:

harmonious waves of hypnotic peace;

“The breath of soft surf speaking”

“…silver sounds in rhapsody”;

“…touch beneath a vintage moon”;

Applause!
