   The Lee Side
    of Sunset

Breath the gentle
evening twilight
on the lee side
  of sunset.
Let the sound of
distant Winter bells
wash over weary
mind and soul.
Allow all ‘visions
  and schemes’
from the senseless
world of men,
to slip far away
beyond the clouds,
and vanish in night’s
immense, elusive
  sorrow.
Then it becomes clear,
that only Nature’s
exquisite truth remains...
to haunt even Time!

Secondhanddreampoet,

Not bad at all.  The only lines I have questions about are:

"from the senseless
world of men,"

I would ask, what other world do we have to deal with.

Brings me to think of the Ocean,  the waves
gently tickling the shore,  The stars
chasing a Lighthouse's beam as it endlessly
circles and washes a distant shore...  Nicely
done>>

This is a new favorite poem for me. It is so very fine. At first glance, it reminded me of some lines from Rilke’s Duino Elegies,

“Earth, is it not this that you want: to rise
invisibly in us? – Is that not your dream,”

“… What is your urgent command if not transformation?"
" ... you need
no more Spring-times to win me: only one,”

Yes, I think this is my new favorite among your works, Poet.
