There is no beauty like the one that lives
Next door; I see her at the break of day,
When the night recedes and reluctant gives
The reign to the brightening sky; I stay
Bound in spell, and so transfixed will bend
But still can never reach her regal form -
A pain no potion but her own can mend.
So she remains; perfection is her norm
And as her image haunts my days and dreams
We each a slave to ever a-fixed feet;
An orchid she is, bathed in sunlight beams
But she and I will never, ever meet:
She is an heir to a majestic deed,
I bear heritage of a common weed.

I happen to have a fondness for thistles, so yanno I had to check this out.

Weed? Or Wildflower?

I love a glory bloom, no matter what classification.

Thanks. I enjoyed.
