Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2008-01-17 10:24 AM

He didn't want my love,
just threw it away,
like some cheap toy,

It went flowing,
down the river,
of regrets,

out into the sea,
an ocean of lost,
loves forgotten,

adrift, floating,
dried up from sun,
slowly decaying,

until it drifts,
back upon shore,
upon the sand,

a lonely heart,
comes walking by,
picks it up,

takes me home,
put on display,
as an art,

beautiful to admire,
unusually unique,
driftwood heart.

You know you're in love, when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dream~Dr.Seuss

Ahhh...

I think everyone is driftwood, floating on the sea...

oh I love this... it reminded me of when my mom and I would go collecting driftwood at the back beaches... we would bring them home and my mom would make these beautiful arrangements with dried flowers... a nice memory, thanks for bringing that back to me with your beautiful words and pictures... love RDB

Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight.........
