Close the door softly
and walk away.
A chapter of your life
has closed today.
Somewhere in the future,
the door will open again
And the ones you've been missing
will welcome you in.

Yanno, what I wish about my own funeral is
that I could hear the Eulogy before they
close the lid...I have seriously thought
about writing a poem to be read during the
service.

Excellent thinker of a write.

Thank You all so much for your wonderful comments, although I am not much for religion,  I firmly believe that the soul does not die.
