Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2008-01-15 12:11 PM

I came upon a small token,
left for appreciation,
my eyes teared,

Upon finding it,
by surprise,
without expectations,

Some time has passed,
since my eyes has seen,
the beauty of such,

A gift treasured,
rare to find,
appreciated in return.

opening the inside,
poetry with art,
Victorian art,

Verse by a famous
favorite poet,
Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Tears came, flowing,
without restraint,
uncontrollable,

My soul had needed this,
for so long of a desire,
now fulfilled.

And this, my poem,
is the result of it,
as my heart,

slowly begins to bleed,
defrosting again,
from a frozen part.

You know you're in love, when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dream~Dr.Seuss

This is very beautifully expressed, dear ARH. You are so true to your name! I am happy that your heart is "defrosting" in order to welcome a new Spring.

Love and joy.
