Past Me Doing my best (not to be compared) feeling so made-like my own need dared critiqued and belittled his due 'cause of pain trying to hold onto the little in gain. But there in wood box, a budwiser titled, old sat what should be mine my past papered gold. Black and white photos my childhood from birth to moonbeams (ballet) my memories of worth. Mine, I cried mine why is it here in your place when you've left me back when, with a life of disgrace and now, yes and now when I've returned to the me, after years of hard work to be finally free. So the time in its own leaves me wondering why I can't see the half full 'stead of empty's deny. In the photos, that's me always smiling, now lost. What to do, what to do in this world of exhaust. Obviously, a very real, heartfelt, emotive 'write!' "...wondering why I can't see the half full 'stead of empty's deny. In the photos, that's me always smiling, now lost. What to do, what to do in this world of exhaust." Boy can I relate to that!... I believe there are an incredible (and ever-growing) number of us amid this "Runaway American Dream" that (one way or another) have come to feel similarly. |

Oh lovie...this is perfectly you. And it's okay to use any "deck" you like! There just comes a time when we must at least try to make peace with ourselves, seeing as that would be the only person we ever actually spend our entire life with. If that makes sense. Your poem says it better though...and hmmm...I think you'd make a lovely Queen of Wands!  Well done, m'mo!  |

I know very little of Tarot, so don't understand how this relates to the challenge but this?...is most assuredly a heartfelt write. (guess I'd be wanting to re-shuffle) |
