.

How odd
To find you
Here

Distracted
Looking back
While you plant
Numerous kisses
On my face

You’re the life
I didn’t get
To have

So soon
The present as it is
Will come and things
Will go on
As they did before

Still you did appear
If only briefly now

To take me where
We never were

.

most excellent!

I am especially fond of the ending:

"you did appear...
...briefly...

To take me where
We never were"

serious, sustained applause!

And it felt good, even if it was just a brief moment, didn't it?
I sometimes wonder about the possible alternative lives that could have been.

Enjoyed this one and can relate.

Well done!

Tom, I love your spectacular mountain picture!!

Love,
Margherita
