Drop Dead

Would you really like to know
when you drop dead where you may go?
Let me explain so you may see
how certain things are known to me.

I’ve often travelled in this land
that few can really understand
and most don’t try to go and see
except when spirits are set free.

This place is not the same as here,
although it’s really very near,
in fact it’s just a breath away
and whispers to us every day.

The things I’ve seen prove this to me
that nothing’s for eternity,
though there  life’s lived on different plains,
all still continue with life’s games.

For many mansions has this land,
eternal law takes you in hand
and places you with your own kind
where all can share a common mind.

But if you don’t accept you’re dead
or pass with chaos in your head,
sometimes you’re lost and cannot find
a way to shed your tortured mind.

For some strange reason I don’t know,
sometimes a ‘living’ soul must go
to help lost souls to find their way
across the realms of night and day.

But I digress, I need to tell
what is this death, a heaven or hell?
Depending where you’ve made your bed
it can be either when you’re dead!

I’ve seen the devils and the gods
I fought with demons, felt their rods,
been bathed in beauty by each ray
of perfect love shining my way.

But what I learned, at no small cost
is none can change when life is lost,
whatever you are like that day
is exactly how you’ll stay.

Where you finally make your home
depends just where on earth you roam.
So did you really want to know,
when you drop dead where you will go?

The moment created this second, is a  moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.

Well, I find this somehow disquieting!

Ok to the paralell world/s, but it is disturbing to think that some souls don't find their way back Home easily. In the end every soul will be embraced again by the loving arms of God, I firmly believe.

Of course we are what we think, so we better think we are deserving of God's love and compassion and therefore destined to Paradise ...

Aren't there the Angels to accompany us?

Your poem is certainly food for thought.

Love and LIGHT!

i think that you have put alot of work in to this poem and i realy do like it now i belive in those that do not find there way to god and i belive in those that think that they are still living and i know they are there

and some time we us living can not help them they must find it out for them selves
but there are those that get caught in a visious round about and will never find the door

i would like to ask about these lines
"whatever you are like that day
is exactly how you’ll stay.

Where you finally make your home
depends just where on earth you roam."
are u trying to say that if you are not a nice person and that you do not follow god guidline then you will pay for the things that you have done?

thanks for this write like the last it was a joy to read

sorry about spelling (not my good point)
