transience (II)

what are we
at best?

a rainbow
reflected in
a drop of rain
approaching
the dusty
earth.

A rainbow
out of sprinkler
echoes up the smile
of misty sky

At best we are the ones who see and record
these beautiful thoughts and obviously some are better than others.

Bruce, a friend of mine last week thought I was strange as it was raining and I sat in her car watching and following the  raindrops as they  flowed into the existing streams made before them on the windshield. Sort of a mesmerizing moment. But calming.

Sigh ...
as long as we are aware of rainbow colors
we are magnificent in reflection!

Transience brings transformation and "dust" is only a small part of it, I believe.

Enjoy reading you, always.

Love,
Margherita

The ephemeral quality of life beautifully, though sadly, expressed.
