Coloring Outside The Lines

The world keeps changing colors on me.
The day doesn't go with my suit,
opportunity turns and walks away
to find the tomorrow I can't refute;
but all things considered
                    from the outside
are no more than minute.

opportunity, timing and what is meant to be will blend, and you will find that place...and it will be right...

at least you've got colors...I see nothing left but dismal
shades of gray mid the "Runaway American Dream"...

What most folks around me are 'chasing' and/or consider
'important'...do indeed seem to actually be rather 'minute'

The poem is very good, dear Dixie!
I hope on this first day of the New Year that you will be able to align to the Universal power of intentions. It's more than a hope ... the colors will be friendly.

Sending you a big hug.
Love,
Margherita

AS long as you are coloring outside the lines, if the colors do not suit, invent new ones. You Are Loved.

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

Hi Dixie...

"the day doesn't go with my suit"  That one line is perfect.
