She was a bygone machine
her wings were paper instead of steel
and she held onto demons, flew with angels,
leaving dust behind
for mortals to suck on.

Abuses rained down on her
she collected them like habits
and stored them in hidden places
in cracks and crevices
where they could be viewed at leisure.

She was wallpaper in a world of art
blending in where she could,
creating a scene in graffiti strokes
of black and blue, colours of sadness,
when she was noticed and removed.

She saw in kaleidoscopic fragments
filtered through the passage of time
but flew into the future
on battered, tattered wings
that could barely hold her weight.

She was a bygone machine
brought back to life
with artificial lungs and heart
so that the world might gape
before taking one more spin on the merry go round.

Beloved one, Oh wow, the imagery and line are simply staggering, you have to know this is an outstanding piece of literature. And yes sweet one I do mean Literature, of the first class kind. You know I love it, love it love it. This poem darling one, it is simply gorgeous and oh how I wish I had a thimbleful of your talent, sadly that is not the case, I am just TPO, not the beautiful one.
Love and warm mushy stuff
as always

Sweetest one, I miss you so much, how I wish that you were here. I might be able to get you to assist me with my wretched coursework.

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

This is rather sad. Although, I can relate to some of it.

This write, dear Kethry, puts you at the center of the stage, no wallpaper or bygone machine stuff!

May the New Year bring much sunshine to your life.

Love,
Margherita
