I like the way you juxtapose the images of a birdseed bell and a cherry tree; the bell taking the place of the food the cherry would supply during other seasons. This makes you think beyond the moment and into the cirle of the seasons and how even when the cherry is not directly supplying sustenance it still provides by being a place food is placed for the chickadee. Very enjoyable image. Here, quail come along and pick up the seeds that fall to the ground. They're also very pleasant to watch. |
