Where no tyranny is tolerable

The Mountains!
Dressed appropriately for Colorado winter.
The mountains!
If only they could talk.
What would they tell us?
...
And would we listen?  Really listen?
... They tried to tare the mountains down
And bring in a couple more,
More people, more scars on the land ...
(John Denver)

From Fort Carson to Fort Morgan,
from taluride to Trinidad,
this , the Southern cross

I've never even seen the mountains but I think I'd rather have the mountains before me (talking to me) than mere pictures or distant memories to try and write something about them

I loooooove the mountains and they have always talked to me!

... that is ... we had always great conversation.

Beautiful and with a wise message woven in. May the mountains maintain their peace so that we can continue to let them speak to our souls.

I feel God near when I am on a Peak, especially after having arrived there after hours and hours of walking/trekking (some time ago!!).

Beautiful, Jaime!

Love,
Margherita
