What dreams lie locked inside your head,
what treasures hide ‘neath midnight’s bed?
When owls screech and whales breach,
what dreams reside just out of reach?

When spirits dance in sunshine’s glow,
they chase dark wolves that cowered low.
Release them, let them reveal
your inner stamp, your golden seal.

Let go the thoughts, escape the lair,
free your dream dancers to roam without care.
Be not tight fisted, be not restrained,
to hold dreams too tightly is to be constrained.

What dreams lie locked inside your head,
what treasures need releasing from midnight’s bed?
Release them, let them reveal
your inner stamp, your golden seal.

would that fine words like these (or philosophic/poetic 'light' of any sort)
could truly dispel the ever-multiplying 'dark wolves' of individual and collective
humanity!...however...

applause for this 'write!' and the very talented author (and most fine human being)
who penned it!

This is very affirming. Nicely done. Merry Christmas sweet lady and may all your dreams come true. Wish your precious daughter Merry Christmas from Larry C.

I love this image:
"free your dream dancers to roam without care"
Sometimes they have to dance with the wolves
in order to be free.
Thanks for the wonderfully written reminder.

Know what?

I am loving this poem so much.  Yes, you hit me square in the solar plexus.

It's tucked in my library to savor.
