Pale in cheek, blessed an eye more bright that weeps,
I will bring not pain upon her breast,
But a gleam of joy where beauty keeps
A moment sweet, my hearts request.
Softly dazzled by her stern eyes again,
Where desires poison ever grows the mouth to sip,
And a poet’s sweet brood loves by his pen,
And kisses resign not from her lips.
In those beloved hours I felt my soul grow,
While every lover embraces Anael’s wings,
As the moon replies with golden glows,
In tune with love, a Nightingale sings.
Beauty to rich a reflex of her brow,
Shall I pledge my sweet passions to her now?

So beautiful! Love indeed makes our souls bloom.
