Emma

No one should die on Christmas
That happiest time of the year.
You know we love her, Jesus
And want to keep her here.

She has heard you calling and
Has answered to her name.
But don't take her on Christmas
If it is all the same.

I know you'll do what's best, Lord
But we have loved her so;
And any day but Christmas
We're prepared to let her go.

We've prayed that she could stay, Lord
But that is not to be.
The doctors say this Christmas is
The last she'll ever see.

We could not give her up, Lord
This child beyond compare,
If we were not so certain
That you will meet her there.

Please have her Grandma waiting
With dear ones by her side,
And even if it's Christmas
By your will we'll abide.

Dear Joyce,

I know this pain. I've lost too many on certain
celebratory days of others' birth days...
I will pray for this little Emma...
for I have an Emily, and know her worth in gold.

Joyce Oh Joyce~
I will pray that if He calls an angel named Emma that He will let her get her wings after Christmas~

I ask that He send love and comfort to Emma and her family~

They are blessed to have a loving friend like you~

Joyce, I am sending my love and healing hugs for sweet sixteen Emma. This is sad beyond sad. I too. am praying that the Lord will allow her to stay beyond Christmas before taking her back Home and that the angel surround her giving her peace and comfort.

A gentle, compassionate write.

Love and healing hugs to all,

Linda

Dear Joyce, I'll pray for the little girl and  A very beautiful poem.

One of my dearest friend is dying of cancer now. If every year she was smiling a big sunshine smile and sang angelically  and played the most beautiful piano, this Christmas she will be quiet in her bed struggling her life with his cancer suffering husband. She is too weak( and painful to talk to anyone.

Love and hugs to you.
we  shall Cherish life minutes by minutes.
Tom

This poem made me cry, Joyce. My daughter died the day before Mother's Day. I so
hope your prayer is answered. Peace to you.

A challenge it seems, but Emma is ever secure in the light and love of Christmas past, present, and future.  I wish you all peace and joy in Him where we live and move and have our being as children of the Light.

My wish for you--these things this Christmas!  Loving arms around you and Emma and her family.  ~ Karen
