    On Nature and
      Imagination

When you can…

feel a whirlwind
in the calmest air

find infinite wisdom
in a slowly drifting
  cloud

sense your spirit’s
  oneness
with the deep-rooted
rocks and trees

see all tomorrows’
  promises
in a crystal-clear,
moonlit lake

taste the ambrosia
in an empty bowl

smell the breath
of winter pines
and ocean mists
in the desert

rejoice in transience
  and change

hear your every
  atom
singing of eternity…

only then
shall you know
the truest ‘way!’

"only then
shall you know
the truest ‘way!"  ... and then "life" turns one away - must be the best and most effective conspiracy of all.

Always enjoy your poems.  Thank you.

I generally read you poem is one breath to sense the strong emotion of it. Now, the break down give me break so it moves slow and more romantic.

beautiful as always

You know, dear Bruce, I am doing this all the time, my favorite imagination ...

Your minimalistic universal Poem makes me question the length of the poem I wrote last night ... but then it's done and I'll leave it the way it is (I will compensate with some senryu and haiku!).

A wonderful offering!

Love,
Margherita

I like this, is a good description, used with good vocabulary. I would just prefer to see some capital letters. :3
