Uneven yokes pull left and right
and ne’er remain aligned
with the centre glory be divine
and authentic will of mind.

Pushed away by this mind
the shouting goes awry
and wanders in the atmosphere
forever to not land
and reap rewards for hurt
implanted in the kind.

But hurt so fickle always leaves
before the noon time bell
that rings in many changes
to what has always been
while the centre searches frantically
for a right and fitting huff and puff
to blow the house down.

It’s a silent affair down there in the core
where the blue bird of happiness sings
when allowed to be free and at ease
in a life decided by love.

But a searcher in motion stops and believes
life simply “ain’t” meant to be good
and the huff and the puff float into air
borne on currents of evading the issue.

Yet somewhere beyond everyone’s love
a shout and a huff will one day collide
but the puff unscathed escapes that day
and simply and easily blows the house down.

There are ruins in the garden of paradise
come, come see, it was nobody’s fault
but the left/right pull of uneven yokes
that never aligned with the core!

Yes, it is a shame...the 'yokes' divide themselves, unable or unwilling to become one.

Thanks Midnitesun and Arctic Wind!  Maybe the unwillingness is based on false perceptions but perceptions are always our own and we simply have to believe in them or disown ourselves.
