Many a phrase has left me I know
So many denials and trials of my test
All scrolled in a journal which life did supply;
My tale of endure and notes of request

I scroll but my ink is chameleon bold
And blends to the colour on which it is bound
Each secret embedded to never be told
The scrolling to never be found

Beneath all the covers of lifetime retreat
My penning as past, in mirror does hide
And slowly the ink of each word fades away
With all of the heartache inside

Each phrase that has left me now hides in the wind
To whisper my words on the breeze till the end
To give but a thought that a writer might find
The mind of a dweller befriend

Rick

The breeze blows my way and I feel the poetry that drifts by.  Some lingers and stays to be savored many times.

Your poetry is that to me - it is wonderful and begs to be savored.

Each phrase that has left me now hides in the wind
To whisper my words on the breeze till the end

Beautiful --

Everything fades, but the echo remains ... it does!

Beautiful write, dear Rick, I enjoyed it.
