Global Warming

Deep-cold winter
crisp frosted moon
brilliant snow...
mere memories?

I have Master Huan Yi as 'inspiration'
(and Ms. Midnitesun's 'editing') to thank
for this 'write'!:

I agree with Kacy. Greed seems to be more powerful than common sense.

I fear that the writing
is on mankind's
Wall of Shame.

Gaia is not smiling.

Lovely short poem in memoriam for real snowy winters; I agree Gaia is not smiling...

Humankind create such strife
as populations wax;
we may have taken Gaia’s knife
but still she wields her axe.

Agreeing with MidniteSun, this is a chilling write. Well crafted, finely etched.
