Face valanced by a peppered beard, I remember you when they said you were weird. But not now. Many years have written wisdom, sage feet of crows around tortured intelligent eyes. Words so fluid meant to endear, I remember you when they said you were weird. But not now. Life experiences have written irony, brown brows of furrow around tortured intelligent eyes. The radio remembers a day when records skipped across broken, longing hearts. And we speak of time long gone, while time tickles our skin, and embrace floats in our eyes as they tear. I remember you when they said you were weird. |
