Time takes, life breaks Wounded and old we go on Living with our burdens While sharing parts of our soul So many corners turned So many tests were failed Words were tears to share Tomorrows were the dread Age, the forgiving knight Stronger and shielded Mind, forgetful of past Acceptance, the last road home Heartbreak, the unknowing Daily struggle, trip and fall Bandage the cut Learning yet again One life, hard yet fulfilling Many tears and many smiles A couple of friends Miles left behind and many to go |

life at it's best, and not to best....but it is, as you say....many miles to go...we can make it easy on ourselves or we can make some very bad choices...it's ours....to do with as we like...free will... lovely right.... |
