Like the winter
that hides behind summers breeze
always on tongue
never on mind

I am apart

I am connection without warmth

I am
too many sparks
flying through broken windows
to find a match

If only one would land near soft wood
I would grow
and through the quiet burning
speak

silence is not golden
but, perhaps,
a fire that has yet to be lit

I just had to wait for some inspiration, it doesn't always come so easily. This was (hopefully) just to get the ball rolling

Chelsea, this is a wonderfully captivating write!

It's good to read you again, many of us can't come in often, but better every now and then, than not at all!

Love,
Margherita
