Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

I was thinking of passing shadows today and how much I miss her.
And then I was thinking of the beauty of so many names here in PiP.
When I drive, I often reflect on the wonderful in my life.

Many in PiP are now part of the wonderful.

I know we periodically play with the names we see here and I was playing, and reflecting on what I find special here.

----

It's All in the Beauty of the Names

When the Ides of Marchmadness descend with the Arctic Wind
a Dark Stranger makes his Pilgramage among passing shadows.
Flying over the SEA, he considers that he is but a soul drifter,
(perhaps a Windwalker).
nakdthoughts slowly open, unable to conceal A Romantic Heart
which yearns to find an Earth Angel dancing amid the Misty Lilacs
- one kissed by the Sunshine of the Midnitesun.
Smiling, the secondhanddreampoet HopeS to find a Goldenrose –
One who will have Gentle Spirit and not see him as an Interloper.
Dark floats over the land below, anticipating A Beautiful Disaster,
but, instead, spying a Lady in White humming the tune of a Shadow_ Singer.
He knows she is his lyricpoet,
his lightkeeper,
his serenity blaze,
a Songbird who beckons him.

Thankful that he is not a latearrival, and with the DreamerSpirit of a Ulysses
he sails with her to the Moonshadow.

Together at long last, MindBodySoul.

----

Alison

VERY creative and fine!...I almost missed
this 'write' completely (glad I didn't!)...

some say life is just a 'play on words'...
why not names?!...

Applause!

Alison, I loved it! ~ and I'm not too proud to admit that I got a kick out of seeing my name included in this delightful ~ and cleverly scribed!!! ~ gift from your pen ~ and heart!

~ and yes, I too miss our Darlin' Dixie. I certainly hope that her 'shadows' are 'passing'.

Ida

I loved your nic here on PiP since I first saw it - and it fits perfectly in my little story.  Thank you for lending it to me.

Margherita,

You, my friend, deserve a poem all of your own.  When I read your comments, I feel the warmth of your smile.  Thank you.

Bruce,

Your name is poetry all of its own.  Thank you for the kindness you show me always - you sometimes encourage me in ways you may never know.  Thank you.

Arctic Wind

I had a struggle using your name.  You can't seem to decide how you are going to spell "Arctic".  I am glad that you enjoyed it and thank you for commenting.  You make me smile too.

Linda,

How could anyone write a poem using the names of PiP and not include our Earth Angel?  It would be like seeing flowers and closing our eyes.  Or not looking at the beauty of a blue sky.  Or not licking choclate off of our fingers.  You are all those things to me.

Hi Tom,

I'll just have to do another.  I didn't want to write too much.  Thank you for reading.  You are in my next one - you and Margherita.

Great - and I still had time to fix it in the poem. (Yay!)  I had it right when I first wrote it, then saw your name here and was like .. whoops.  Changed it and now I think we are done with that little issue.

Have a good one.

A, this is so sweet and thank you dear for remembering me and including me.  I did one of these some years ago but probably couldn't find it if I tried now.

Big hugs to you, you have been on my mind alot lately and I apologize for not replying more often, I just haven't been here near as much as I wish I could be.
Hugs and peace, D~

Alison, my dear, you are not the first to give a resounding credit to so many wonderful poets in our blue walled home. I thank you for thinking of not only me, but so many of my friends here at Passions.

It is one of the most favorite types of poems to read, when we see the names of our friends in poetic tribute.

I wonder what you could do with the names of those poets who never even graced the halls of PiP, but left their poetic roots behind in trust?

Dearest Sunshine,

Thank you for stopping in.  Yes, I know that poems using names of people here have been written time and again.  I think that the names may call us, don't you?  I love reading your thoughts and poetry here in PiP.
