My muse and I seldom agree
On the content of our poetry.
She leans toward spirituality
while I must dwell in the reality
that she seeks to rise above.
My practical curiosity is endless,
Her concerns are truth and love.
With each write we must decide....
Do we fly with the wings
of a wren or a dove?

Smiling at this, as they are both wonderfully complex creatures, the wren and the dove, with unique talents and abilities...same as you.
And your muse spirit is just another facet of your beautifully unique jewel of a personality.

a fine 'write!'...

[touching, I believe, upon how we all so often
  feel when penning 'poetry'!]

Applause!

This is a nice pondering. I think we should try to align to our Muse then the pen flies and our wings spread.

Thank you dear Ida.

Love,

I think that whatever you fly as you fly and that is the important part. May you always soar high in poetic flight and may your wings never melt in the sun.

'Ida' say that your muse adds a divinely delicate touch to your earthy poetry! ~ and that is a recipe for well-rounded writing that is pleasing to most poetry lovers' palates!

Love the mood you're in!
